LIFE LESSONS AND RELEVANT CONNECTIONS

SECTION 3:

The most important life lesson that I found in this section is "Don't judge someone before you get to know them." I thought that this was a good life lesson because

many people judge others by the way they look, the things they do, or their family and their past. This theme goes with the section because a lot of people said that

Chris was suicidal from the start. Chris wasn't suicidal and he never was, he just enjoyed the outdoors and he also enjoyed being alone, on adventures. Anybody who

said Chris was suicidal obviously didn't know him well enough. Kraukaur loved to climb mountains and be outdoors and people could also judge him by what he does.

Kraukaur isn't suicidal but this concept could be used against him. Nobody should ever judge anybody before they get to know the person.

Another life lesson that stuck out to me was "If you get betrayed by someone you love, don't just leave. Stay there for the support of the others you love." If you get up

and walk out because you got hurt by somebody you loved, then you are hurting another person or people that you love. This life lesson fits in with this section

because Chris found out that his father had a second family and was cheating on Chris' mother. When Chris found this out, he got up and left. He didn't tell any of his

family. With his mother being already hurt from the fact that the father was cheating, Chris leaving only hurt her more. Especially Chris' sister, Carine, who didn't get

along with her parents either and her and Chris were really close. Him leaving hurt Carine because Carine and Chris had each other whenever they were going through

rough times. If you get hurt, the best option is to stay and work everything out. Leaving only makes the problem worse and it also won't help anyone else.
